Hello...and welcome to the future of web design. You have a need for a solid, yet simple web presence to further reach your customers. That's where I come in. I can give you the site you need to reach not only your core audience but reach new viewers and users as well. You want to be on the cutting edge of the web...and I want to take you there.
Combinations of color can make or break a brand or product. Many of the color combinations you see on the web and in the marketplace were highly scrutinized and studied before they were chosen for their prospective uses. Color studies are conducted to find the best combinations. I have done this here for two different color blends. Find more info after the jump.
Typography (from the Greek words τύπος (typos) = form and γραφή (graphe) = writing) is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make the language it forms most appealing to transparent learning and recognition.
Readability is the key factor we have to consider as web designers. If a person cannot read the information we provide on our sites, we may as well hang it up and go home. Color and typeface play into readability in ways that are noticeable on the surface. Too close the contrast and the type will be unreadable. Greater the contrast and the type will be easily recognizable.
Take a look at the examples at the links below to see the difference in a light color theme and a dark color theme. I think you'll find that you might like one more than the other. Then again...it's all up to you.
Part of my creativity comes from the many years I have spent as a working musician. This video is one of many. It is a direct representation of the rock & roll that drives my soul. I have shared the stage with many musicians and opened shows for many national touring acts over the years but, this is the band I was meant to be a part of. It is Jordan Hallquist & The Outfit.
